Welcome to the Web Home of the USS SELLERS (DDG 11)

Photographs

Photos, Photos and more Photos

We have had some very generous contributions to our web pages. The links to the left will take you to the areas you may explore including crew photographs from the 60s, 70s and 80s as well as ship photographs from commissioning to decommissioning.

Share your memories! None of us is getting any younger and the time is now to SHARE YOUR MEMORIES. Send us your photographs and we'll scan them, post them and return the originals to you. We can scan photographs, negatives and slides - and return each of them to you undamaged. We also would like to see more "sea stories" come our way.

Rogues Gallery

We are creating an aptly named, "Rogues Gallery" to hold current photographs of former SELLERSMEN. If you have the nerve to contribute, please click here. If you'd care to see what we have follow the link to the left.

Curtis Johnston, Chuck Sirmans and John Charles

Double click on the 1960s tab and follow the links to the photos provided by our shipmates Curtis Johnston, Chuck Sirmans and John Charles. They send us photos from the Med, the New York World's Fair and some shipboard photos. The photos provided are from slides and still look GREAT after 40 years.

Submitting Your Photographs

The essence of the SELLERS "experience" are the experiences of the crew, people like you and me. If you have photographs to share send the to us. If you have slides or photographs send them to us, we'll scan them and post them. If you have already scanned your photographs, send the files to us and we'll post those as well.

Reunion Photographs

Follow the Reunion Photos links to the left to see photographs from our 2004 Reunion in Jacksonville, Florida.

"Most Wanted"

Right now, the "most wanted" list includes:
- Oral history inputs. Your stories, your experiences recorded on tape. We can take the tape, convert it to digital format and post on the website. None of us is getting any younger. The time is NOW to capture your memories on tape and share them with us.
- 8mm film. If you have 8mm tapes from the 60's through the 80s we'd love to add this as well.
- 35mm slides. We can convert slides into digital images and return the slides to you unharmed.
